Cinema Bajo La Luna en Teatro NOMAR

You’re invited!

On the first four Saturdays in September – the expansive parking lot of Wichita’s historic NOMAR Theatre located at 21st St and N Market St will be transformed into an outdoor theater with seating and lighting to create a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere often found in Mexico’s neighborhood block parties and plazas.

For Cinema Bajo La Luna en Teatro NOMAR (Cinema Under the Moon at NOMAR Theater), we will be screening four, bilingual Latin American films giving nod to the culture within the surrounding neighborhood and NOMAR’s history as the first integrated theatre in Wichita.

This event is sponsored by the Wichita Community Foundation Up The Ambition initiative and is built in partnership with Basham Furniture, Wichita Festivals, WASG (Wichita Artist Support Group), and Downtown Wichita (WDDC).
